LE MANS, France – June 15, 2008 - The 24 Hours of Le Mans premiere for the Porsche RS Spyder could
not have gone better as, at the world’s toughest long distance race, the sports prototype from Weissach
celebrated a one-two finish in the LMP2 class.
After a trouble free run without a single technical problem, Jos Verstappen, Jeroen Bleekemolen and Peter
van Merksteijn (all from The Netherlands) crossed the finish line first. The trio from the Van Merksteijn
Motorsport team held an eight lap advantage at the finish over the second-placed RS Spyder of John
Nielsen, Casper Elgaard (both Denmark) and Porsche works and Penske Racing driver Sascha Maassen

TRG To Mid-Ohio with 4 Cars
TRG Looks to Defend Mid-Ohio Victory with Potent Four-Car Lineup
PETALUMA, Calif. - TRG returns to the venerable Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for Saturday's Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 EMCO Gears Classic with a four-car lineup and as the race's defending champions.
Last year, Andy Lally and RJ Valentine co-drove the No. 66 Porsche to the victory at Mid-Ohio, one of a series-leading five GT-class victories in 2008. Entering Saturday's eighth round of the 13-race 2008 Rolex Series championship, however, TRG is still looking for its first victory. Mid-Ohio could be just the place to change that, as TRG has placed at least one car on the podium there for every race since 2004.

Ruby Tuesday Championship Racing Team brings newly improved Crawford to Mid-Ohio
TAVARES, Fla. - Though it's only been two weeks since the Ruby Tuesday Championship Racing Team debuted its brand new Crawford DP08 bodywork at Watkins Glen International, the team has since learned a lot about its newly updated car.
In fact, the team learned more about the dynamics of its new bodywork in the two days following the Sahlen's Six Hours Of The Glen than it had previously known - mainly because the car went from having the new bodywork bolted on at Crawford Composites in Charlotte, N.C. straight to Watkins Glen without the benefit of being track tested.
