How are you doing?  My name is Gil, I attended the Annual MORPCA Chili & Dessert Cook-off at Ron's on Saturday 10/25/08 as a guest.

It was my first time attending an MORPCA event and I had the most wonderful time.  Ron and Diana were such gracious hosts, and Ron's private collection is simply out of this world.

PORSCHES2OXFORD SET TO ATTRACT RECORD CROWD
On Saturday July 26th, upwards of 350 shiny Porsches are expected to line the quaint brick streets of uptown Oxford. P2O registrar Marty Reich said, “As of June 10th, we are running more than sixty percent ahead of this same time last year”. Cars are coming from as far away as Florida -- with registrants coming from 17 states and Canada.
Marketed by Mid-Ohio Region Porsche Club as a ‘casual Porsche party’, P2O is celebrating its fourth year in Oxford after two years in Pinckney Michigan. In 2007 more than 250 Porsches attended this nationally recognized event. Co-chairperson Brice Kadel said, “MORPCA has gotten a lot of great publicity in the last year for hosting a great event in a unique venue. The fact that PCA National President Prescott Kelly and his wife Pam are returning again this year for the second time speaks volumes about P2O. The Kelly’s have the opportunity to attend ten PCA events each weekend in the summer and the fact that they are attending P2O two years in a row is a testimonial to what’s been created.” Read More...

TAJ CHARITIES CAR SHOW HELD AT FRAZE PARK IN DAYTON

Taj Speedfest Charities recently held its annual car show as part of its many activities to raise funds for Speedfest Charities. Held at Fraze Park in Kettering, the gathering attracted nearly 150 cars on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.
Representing MORPCA were Jim Borowske, Marty Reich, Brad Shisler, and myself. Hosted by MORPCA’s newest member and creator of Taj Ma Garaj; John Dixon was there to hand out the many awards. Read More...

A TRIP TO TAJ MA GARAJ IN DAYTON

ANNUAL HOG ROAST IS FUN FOR EVERYONE EXCEPT THE HOG

The annual MORPCA Pig Roast was held on Saturday September 29th at the resort-inspired home of Mike and Debra Stoner in Hilliard. With a house on the Scioto River and chamber-of-commerce-type, autumn weather; it was a perfect combination enabling Gerhard Hillmann to provide boat rides to many of the sea-worthy guests. More than half of those in attendance took the opportunity to view the lovely river homes that can’t be seen from the road.
